This half term we will be asking the question:
What magic mixture would you create?
As Geographers we will use atlases and maps to locate continents and countries of the world. And look at where our food is produced. We will research European cities.
As Scientists we will investigate the importance of skeletons and muscles. We will research nutrition and health.
As Designers we will create tantalising fruit salads.
As Mathematicians we will use our understanding of measures to create fruit salads. We will use data handling to analyse favourite fruits and use multiplication and division in our work
Skills As skilful people we will read and discuss George's Marvellous Medicine . We will then create our own instructional texts.
Technology As technical people we will learn how to design, program and debug simple games and create PowerPoints.
Aspirations As learners with high aspirations we will strive to make healthy choices thinking about food, medicine and drugs.
Respect As respectful learners we will have mutual respect and tolerance for different faiths when researching the celebration of Eid and Christmas.
Places you could visit: Manchester Museum . Eureka museum, local libraries, theatres
PE days:
Monday- Outside games
Thursday -Dance
Please bring your reading book to school every day.
Spelling tests and times tables tests are on Fridays.
