Anyone for tennis?

The boys from our writing group had a fantastic afternoon in South Manchester.  We made our way to the Fuzion 100 Manchester Tennis Trophy.  This event is a world class women's tournament held at The Northern Lawn Tennis Club in Didsbury.  We watched a game between our local player, Naomi Broady, representing Great Britain and Ons Jabeur from Tunisia.  The strength and power of the women was incredible! Most of the serves were over 100mph!

After the game, we were able to try out our own skills with some of the coaches from the club.  The boys had great aim and determination to try the best in the activities! Throwing, catching backwards and forwards and playing over the net were all included in our afternoon session.
