Governing Body
Our Governors bring different areas of expertise to Crosslee Community Primary School. The Governor’s role is to support and challenge the senior staff to continually improve the school. Governors do this through undertaking visits, sitting on committees, giving professional advice, and asking probing and challenging questions of leaders within the school. They have a vital role to play in driving the school forward and the performance of its pupils, ensuring that resources are used well to give every child the best possible education. They are a key part of the overall system for school accountability. Governors are also responsible for overseeing the Head teacher’s performance management; in doing this they contribute directly to shaping the strategic direction of the school.
