Hate Crime in Manchester
After recent events in Manchester we have spoken to our pupils regarding supporting each other through this difficult time. Our hearts and thoughts are with the families and friends who have been affected by this attack. As a community we need to stand together. We are very proud to be a Manchester school!
There a number of helplines available to support children and adults through this:
Cruse Bereavement Care - Freephone 0808 808 1677
GMP - 101 non-emergency number
True Vision - will support on reporting hate crimes (ask in school for this e-mail)
Samaritans - emotional support 0161 116 123
The community are working together to reduce the amount of Hate Crimes in the area. We are currently working alongside Greater Manchester Police and our housing officers to look at the problems some youths are causing in the area. We advise to report any concerns and school can support with this process.
