Our class assembly will be on Thursday 16th February at 09:15, parents are invited to come and watch.
Please encourage your child to practice their spellings and times tables at home along with reading daily.
Homework is given out on a Monday and needs to be back on Friday.
Please ensure that your child is bringing their reading book and water bottle every day.
Outdoor PE is Thursday, please make sure that your child has their full PE kit: plain black shorts, leggings or jogging bottoms, plain white t-shirt and trainers (preferably black).
Every Tuesday is swimming, please make sure that your child has their full swimming kit: towel, costume or trunks and swimming hat (if applicable).

Our topic this half term is Would you rather live in Brazil or the UK?
As a Geographer, I can:
Locate South America and Brazil on a map.
Identify the northern and southern hemisphere along with the equator.
Understand the significance of longitude and latitude.
Understand the similarities and differences of human and physical geogrpahy.
Use maps, atlases, globes and digital mapping to locate countries.
As a Scientist, I can:
Construct and interpret a variety of food chains, identifying producers, predators and prey.
Recognise that environments can change and that this can sometimes pose dangers to living things.
As an Artist / Designer, I can:
Draw positive and negative shapes.
Observe colour.
Develop my colour mixing and matching.
Recreate a piece of art in the style of an artist.
The British value we will be focusing on is Mutual Respect and Tolerance - embracing diversity and promoting awareness to different religions, their traditions and culture heritage.
As a Rights & Respecting school we will be looking at article 14 - Every child has the right to think and believe what they want and to practise ther religion, as long as they are not stopping other people from enjoying their right.
